The 2016 Fly Fishing Film Tour Orange County Edition is coming !!! The Calico Syndicate is proud to announce that on Saturday May 14th @ the AMC Theaters at The District Tustin Legacy will be the 4th annual F3T OC film screenings and charity event. Tickets will go on sale the first week in April so SAVE THE DATE on your calendars. This year we have teamed up with Casting for Recovery 501 (c)3 and all net proceeds will benefit them directly. Oskar Blues Brewing is once again hosting the bar, The Blue Water Grill will be catering, and the raffle & silent auction will be bigger and better than ever.
Last year we saw 10 year old Ethan Purkis walk away with a $14,000 Grand Raffle Prize and a lifetime memory of fishing with his father at one of the nation’s best lodges, The Falcon’s Ledge Lodge in Altamont, UT…..how lucky are you feeling this year? Many consider this the premiere fly fishing event in Southern California and we are expanding our event to accommodate more anglers and their wives. So come out and enjoy a spectacular angling inspired evening with some of the best anglers and fly tiers here in the Southland.

ORVIS & Friends weekend at The SPOT will feature the 2016 ORVIS Fly Fishing Line of apparel and gear along with presentations from Eastern Sierra Experts Dave D-Beaupre & Joe Contaldi. There will be fly demos including The Calico Syndicate's own, Dave Valadez & Adam Perez.
Saturday April 2nd at 3:00pm will also feature the ORVIS Down the Hatch Film Festival at Los Angeles Valley College located at 5800 Fulton Ave., Valley Glen, CA 91401. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Trout Unlimited.
Come and join the crew at The SPOT along with Hutch Hutchinson of ORVIS and a host of local experts as they share their knowledge and stories with you. Oskar Blues Brewing will host the adult beverages....what's there not to like !
